Now its time for collecting Cashew and Cashew Nuts from the cashew plantation areas of Koraput district . While the nuts are sold to traders , a part of that comes to the market in the form of raw tender Cashew useful for cooking as Curry . The Cashew Fruit is kept aside for raw consumption ( We had great memories from childhood days of eating the cashew fruit while throwing the nut) . Its also used for preparing home made Liquor . Now that Chaitra Festival is coming to an end , tribals in different parts of the district are preparing liquor for their guests who might be visiting their home as part of the celebration .
