The state level five day long  make up workshop for the beauticians was inaugurated at koraput on Friday . The workshop organized by Mamta’s Angel Beauty Academy  is designed to equip the participants  with the knowledge and skills to perform professional makeup application and potentially start a career in makeup artistry  ,said  Manjula  Raut , director of the academy . For being an unique academy in south Odisha girls who had opened beauty parlours and those who wish to make a career in the field had shown great interest to learn different skills to enhance their earning potential . While the programme had attracted the participants from different parts of greater Koraput  region , it was encouraging to see participants   even from a far off place like Keonjhar . The workshop would deal with enhancing the skills in hairstyle , bridal makeup , saree drapping  and  party makeup   with hand on practice in the five days residential camp  , she added.
